Rosalind Roux

Rosalind Roux is dedicated to fostering inclusivity and accessibility in public events and community initiaves. With her MSc in Psychology and her background in mental health advocacy, drug policy reform, SEN, harm reduction (SSDP, welfare), and event operations she brings a unique, multidisciplinary perspective to her new role as Accessibility Officer for Breaking Convention 2025. Rosalind will work closely with attendees, prior to and during the conference, to ensure their needs are met, creating a welcoming and supportive environment for all.

Passionate about equality, she is committed to removing barriers to access and promoting meaningful engagement in psychedelic research, consciousness exploration and beyond. As a long-standing friend and volunteer of BC, it is an honour for her to be bringing her experience to a cause so close to her heart. When she's not working in accessibility (at some of the largest events in England or consulting for small grassroots venues), Rosalind lives peacefully in the Himalayas on her dharmic path; subsistance farming, (learning) herding/milking goats, helping local communities, teaching Pranayam and writing poetry. You can also find her nestled in the Andalusian Hills, hosting (Yog, art, writing) retreat groups, cooking, baking and teaching Pranayam, Prana Vidya, mindfulness and meditation techniques.

Rosalind loves radical compassion, singing, dancing, sighing/humming, drinking tea, listening to peoples' stories, learning, mythology, neuroscience, altered conscious states and evidence-based drug policy.
