Nili Sigal

Nili Sigal is an art therapist with a specific interest in trauma and working with the body. She works for the NHS and has published about embodied approaches for trauma recovery. She is passionate about using art therapy for integration after psychedelic journeys, promoting intuition and creativity. Since psychedelic experiences are often non-verbal or go beyond what words can describe, it seems important that the therapeutic modality to support integration contains non-verbal, expressive elements.

Art Therapy for Psychedelic Integration

An experiential session facilitated by two art therapists, inviting participants to explore psychedelic experiences through art. The workshop will include a grounding exercise, a creative exercise and discussion at the end. We will consider the potential benefit of creativity for integration of the transition between altered state and our shared reality - with the art bridging the gap between experience and insight. While participants will be invited to consider psychedelic experiences they might wish to integrate, this is a not a therapy session and we encourage everyone to choose experiences that are not too overwhelming and can be easily contained.
