Ian Roullier

Ian Roullier is the co-founder of the Psychedelic Participant Advocacy Network (PsyPAN). Ian’s participation in clinical trials run by Imperial College (2015) and King’s College/Compass Pathways (2019) led to his dedication to help bring these treatments safely to all who may benefit from them. PsyPAN works with organisations to ensure participant wellbeing is placed at the heart of their trials and treatments, and also provides community and connection for people who have received psychedelic-assisted therapy.

Ask The Clinical Trial Participants

Without participants there would be no psychedelic research and these promising new treatments will never become widely available. This session provides an opportunity to speak to three former psychedelic-assisted therapy clinical trial participants and meet the real people behind the scientific data. These experts by experience will be available to discuss their experiences, the importance of incorporating participant voices within psychedelic trials and treatments, what happens once the trial is over – including retreatment and the vital role of community, and how organisations can best collaborate with participants to safeguard future patients and help improve outcomes.
