Melissa is on a mission to translate scientific and contemplative knowledge into systems that support wellbeing. Drawing on her expertise in science, therapeutic practice, art, contemplative practices, and technology, Melissa explores the multifaceted nature of mental health and well-being, seeking to promote innovative solutions that empower individuals and communities.

As an active proponent of creative approaches to mental health, she serves as the Secretary of Psychedelic Research in Science and Medicine (PRISM), teaches meditation at Signs of Life Psychology, co-founded The Australian Psychedelic Society, and co-directs The Cyberdelic Society. In her role for PRISM, Melissa supports the development of psychedelic research trials.

While at the Cyberdelic Society she is an experience designer for immersive VR experiences, creating artful meditation adventures. Melissa aspires to be a catalyst for positive change by promoting a culture that embraces the eudaemonic capacities of the psyche, and that celebrates the diversity and creativity of life.
