VIEW DIRECTIONS

The centrepiece of main Streatham Campus of the University of Exeter is the stunning Forum, which provides the Student Services Centre, a modern 24/7 library, technology-rich learning spaces, a 400-seat lecture theatre, the University’s reception, and retail and catering outlets.

In 2018, the university added student hubs – a collection of accessible spaces across campus where you can eat, socialise and study.  Breaking Convention will be making use of these main spaces, and delegates will have access to stay in university accommodation and make full use of the space during the conference.

The Exeter city centre is only a 15-minute walk away so you can enjoy the advantages of both the campus and highlights of the county town of Devon.

The University of Exeter’s Streatham Campus is acknowledged as the most beautiful and botanically interesting of any UK University. Streatham Campus is described by The Times as the ‘best-gardened campus in Britain’ and by The Independent as having a ‘sublime’ setting.  The horticultural highlights of the campus are here.

Accommodation

The University has great value on site accommodation (incl. breakfast)  available which is a 5 minute walk away from where the talks will be taking place. This can be booked directly with the University and a special link to book this will be sent out in due course.

There are plenty of other accommodation options in the city centre itself and surrounding campus. We recommend doing a thorough search as there are plenty of options ranging from budget to luxury.
