Freya Häberlein is a writer and graduate student in Philosophy and Literature at the University of Hildesheim in Germany. Her fields of research are environmental ethics, cybernetics and ecology. Interested in interdisciplinary scientific discourses, she experiments with the boundary between theory and fiction, creative fieldwork and performative philosophy. Her poetry and films, which deal with topics such as the rapport between humans and non-humans or the natural and the technical, have been featured in magazines, at festivals and at collaborative exhibitions. Her hobbies are mushroom foraging, gardening and cycling.
